School Uniform
Parents are requested to see that pupils are properly dressed and also bring to school clothing for physical education in a clean and tidy condition.
All personal property and clothing should be marked with the pupil's name. Items of jewellery are not part of the school uniform and should not be worn.
Parents should stress to children the need to respect and care for uniforms. While we make every effort to track down the owners of found clothing, the task of tracing ownership is difficult if items are not named.
Physical Education and Sport
All students are to wear shorts and the school P.E. shirt. The P.E. t-shirt is sold through the school office.
Uniform for 2012
Our school uniform is practical, versatile, hard-wearing and relatively inexpensive. The uniform is unisex and consists of the following items:
Summer
- Polo shirt with school logo (white for girls, royal and navy for boys), open neck with collar, short sleeves.
- Knit shorts, royal blue with school name. Navy uniform skirts are optional for girls.
- White socks for girls, navy socks for boys.
- School sweatshirt.
- Blue cap.
Students must wear black leather shoes or black sports shoes. Shoes of any other colour are not permitted. Sandals with a back strap (not jandal or scuff style) can be worn in the summer months.
Winter
As for summer, with the addition of warmer items:
- Navy blue Trackpants with school logo.
- Polar Fleece.
- White or blue skivvy, optional. These may be purchased from any source.
All these items of uniform (except for skivvies) will be retailed at the school to keep costs down.
Footwear
For both girls and boys, covered footwear is essential for technology/specialist classes. This is a legal requirement for safety purposes.
Please note:
- It is unwise to purchase uniforms without trying them on.
- It is better to plan on buying slightly larger sizes to ensure longer life.
- We are prepared to provide price quotes for Income Support Services, if parents wish to obtain a special benefit advance.
You may wish to start an automatic payment through your bank account and pay uniform, school fees and stationery by this method. Forms are available at the school office.

Please Note: If you require a quote for WINZ please make sure you have an early appointment as your child needs to be in full uniform to commence school on 31st January 2012.
