WRISSA Rugby League Results

An amazing day had by all. We took two teams to the WRISSA Rugby League tournament held at Fraser Park yesterday. Both teams (Overs and Unders) performed exceptionally well. A cold start, to the day, yet all came together quickly with wins, setting us up for a long day. Fantastic leadership was shown by all, especially our Year 8s in both teams. All the players involved showed awesome skills and AKO. Overall, it was a great day.

Our under 60kg team finished in 7th place. Our Overs team, led by their inspirational captain, Amos, showed resilience throughout the whole day, making the final against our friends from over the hill - Wainuiomata. Unfortunately, we lost the final, yet we must be proud of actually making the final and giving it our best.

Thanks to Jarrad, Mike, Sesi, Lynley, and Jenny for their help on the day. It couldn’t happen with you all. Players who have gear to return. Please bring that to Mr Yarrall
