Big Smash 

Kia ora,

We are excited to announce that Cricket Wellington’s Big Smash is back for another season.

We are visiting Intermediates over Term 4 2024 in the search for Wellington’s biggest Year 7 and 8 hitter! We will have prizes and Super Smash tickets up for grabs as well as the chance to compete at our Big Smash halftime final during one of our Blaze and Firebirds Super Smash games this summer!

How will it work?

• We’ll visit your school this Term and set up a Smash Zone.

• Students will get a few hits each to try to give it a go.

• We’ll measure the biggest hits and keep an online leaderboard.

• The biggest hitters from each school will win a family pass to a Super Smash game and be invited to participate in our Big Smash Final during the halftime activation.

Please note that this is not just for cricket players. It’s for anyone who thinks they can hit big!
